Chemical peels are professional skin resurfacing treatments that use carefully selected chemical solutions to create controlled exfoliation of the skin. Depending on the peel formulation and depth, treatments can help improve uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, acne, signs of aging, and overall skin appearance.

Course Structure

Hybrid | Self-Paced Online Theory + 1-Day In-Person Hands-On Training

This course combines online education with one day of in-person clinical training. Students must complete the required online theory before attending their scheduled hands-on training day.

Online Portion:
Students complete the course theory through the LVLAI student portal at their own pace. Online access is available for 12 months and includes video lessons, downloadable course materials, and knowledge assessments.

1-Day In-Person Training:
The training day begins with a review of key concepts and an instructor demonstration, followed by supervised hands-on practice. Students will perform a chemical peel treatment on a live model while practicing consultation, skin assessment, peel selection, skin preparation, proper application, treatment monitoring, removal or neutralization when indicated, and post-treatment care.

Rescheduling of the in-person training date may incur additional fees.

Chemical Peels Specialist Certification

Students receive a La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute certificate upon successful completion of the required online education and in-person hands-on training.
